We are planning to organize an exhibition water polo match. You can register as a spectator via email: info [at] eurogamesbudapest [dot] hu Please also write us, if you would like to play too! The program is only a plan so far, we will decide about actually organizing the event depending on the number of participants.
We are also looking for volunteers to help; you can find details in the Volunteer menu.
1. The goal of the tournament
The tournament is organized for professional and amateur swimmers regardless of their knowledge of swimming, age, sexual orientation and gender identity. We are expecting a limited number of 450 participants, so early registrations are recommended!
2. Location of the tournament
The tournament will be held at the location of the previous Splash tournaments, which is one of the newest 50 meters pools in Budapest. The pool is outdoors, and the competition will be stopped only at extremely dangerous weather conditions.
The tournament pool will be open for warming up only between 7:00 and 7:45am on both days. During the competition you can use the small pool nearby for warming up and cooling down.

6. Details about the tournament
The tournament will start at 8:00am and end at 16:00pm. Heats will be started continuously without breaks. Competitors will receive a planned schedule at registration on the 28th of June (Thursday), but the time given in the program of each event can change significantly. Therefore we recommend arriving to the swimming pool at least 1-2 hours before the scheduled time.
Participants have to register also at the competition before their heats, please remember to take your badge with you. Participants, who are late or disqualified, are not allowed to compete in the heat.

7. Medals
Medals will be given for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd swimmer with the best time in each age group and event. The medals will be given out continuously during the competition, medals of the relay events will be given out on a separate ceremony.
8. Registration
1. All athletes have to register through the central registration system on the EuroGames 2012 homepage before the 20th of June. One can apply for a maximum of 4 individual events. The registration of relays is not limited.
2. All swimmers have to register on the 28th of June (Thursday) at the central EuroGames registration.
3. All swimmers have to register at the competition before each heat. The planned schedule might change significantly, the starting time of the events are only approximate.
9. Results
The results will be published at the information board during the competition after each event as soon as possible. The results will be published on the internet site of the competition a few days latest after the EuroGames.
10. Important information
1. There will be first aid provided during the competition.
2. All swimmers participate at the tournament on their own risk! Medical permission is not required; registration means that the applicant is in a right condition for competing.
3. The organizers are not responsible for the belongings of the competitors around the pool and in the changing rooms.
4. Purchase of insurance for the competition is highly recommended!
5. The organizers have the right to make changes in the planned program above.
